Well January is all done and soon to be February and we will have had our Birthday Party at Ibsley Village Hall in the New Forest as you read this.I will let you know how it went in the May newsletter.
Our Christmas Party went well and I think I’m safe in saying we all liked the hall at the Weyhill Fair. We are using it also for our AGM meet, and camping behind the Weyhill Fair pub which has a mural on a wall in the upstairs room featuring the old ‘Weyhill Fair’, a huge Animal Fair of the past, believed to be what Thomas Hardy used as the Fair at which ‘The Mayor of Casterbridge’ sold his wife. If you are in our Area well worth a visit.
Good weather and camping to you all.
