Wessex Area AGM
Our site is behind the Weyhill Fair pub, about 3 miles west of Andover.
The pub serves good food and good beer (including Fullers and Gales).
The site opens at 2pm on Friday, and closes on Sunday. The stewards for this meet can be contacted by the Wessex mobile phone on 07939 592 200.
AGM & Members Meeting
The Wessex Area AGM is being held on Saturday 25th April, starting at 3pm in the Fairground Hall near the site, and is for Wessex Area members only. Signing in will commence at 2.30pm, and please remember your membership cards.
Notices of Motions, supported by the signatures of twenty-five voting members, shall be submitted in writing to the Area Secretary by 22nd February 2020.
There are 6 vacancies on the committee. The retiring Officers are Stella Callow, Peter Mullens, Richard Perry and Sarah Perry, all of whom are all willing to stand for re-election subject to their acceptance of a nomination. Nominations for the Committee, signed by the proposer, seconder and nominee, to be submitted to the Area Secretary before the commencement of the meeting.
The AGM will be followed by a Members Meeting.
Our usual ceilidh will be held on Saturday evening, starting at 19:30 in the Fairground Hall, which is a short walk from the site.
This is an informal folk dance evening, interspersed with song, poetry or music. You can bring your own refreshments, although tea and coffee is provided in the interval.

- From the A303 take exit signed A342 Devizes
- At roundabout take exit singed A342 Devizes/Weyhill
- After 1 mile the pub is on the right
- Go through the car park and follow signs to the site
The garage over the road stocks basics (milk, papers, etc.) and there is also a farm shop nearby.
Andover is a short drive away (Asda, Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s).
Pink Olive Indian restaurant is close by.
The Activ8 bus provides a frequent service from the site to both Andover and Salisbury.
